About me...
My name is Ayelén. I am a writer, psychologist and traveler.
With much love I share with you the inner journey that changed my course: a deep introspective search that took me to India with a one-way ticket and the inescapable need to find answers. A journey of surrender, self-knowledge and spirituality that brought me back to life and to a new encounter with myself.
I could say that I was, and still am, a traveler of the world—young, but with an old soul. A woman who, from the age of 18, went out with her backpack on her shoulders to experience life in the flesh. A psychologist, a craftswoman, a musician, a woman, a daughter and after India, a yogi and a writer.
I like the word seeker.
I left home 7 years ago to explore the world. I went through experiences I could never have imagined. My home moved countries several times, until I came to India to face my deepest ghosts and find who I am now.
I went across the biggest storm of my life, one I thought would shatter me. I bravely learned from it like never before, and after months that seemed like forever I saw the sun rise.
I lived 6 months in India and 10 months in Asia, and then returned to India - of course - where I live now. I learnt Yoga, Buddhism, meditation, lived in Ashrams and met incredible people and stories that inspired me to write about them, about the teachings I have passed through and about the magic that inhabits this world when we take the time to perceive it.
But my greatest learning was to get to know myself along the way. Accepting who I am, my own processes and looking at myself with more love than ever, like a child who is just starting to walk. I found my desire for today and it is the engine of my days, without certainties but with the strength of my dreams. Today I found my stability in movement and my passion in the inspiration that writing gives me, exactly what I do every day. And here I am, much more at peace, much freer and much more aware than ever in my life, continuing to learn, because if we understand that life is a learning process, the road never ends.
